Material handlers

Role Overview: Perform physical tasks to support the safe, efficient movement and transfer of freight, materials, and equipment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Load, unload, and move heavy materials manually or using basic equipment (hand trucks, dollies).
  • Sort, pack, and secure goods for transport to prevent damage.
  • Clean, maintain, and organize active work areas, loading docks, and transfer sites.
  • Follow all company safety protocols, wear required PPE, and report hazards immediately.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Physical stamina and ability to lift up to 50+ lbs repeatedly.
  • Strong work ethic, reliability, and team-player mindset.
  • Prior manual labour or logistics experience is an asset.

Storekeepers and partspersons

Role Overview: Handle inventory movement, order staging, and daily warehouse logistics to ensure smooth transfer operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Receive, inspect, and log incoming shipments; verify packing slips against physical inventory.
  • Stage shipments accurately for outgoing transit according to daily dispatch schedules.
  • Operate warehouse equipment (forklifts, pallet jacks) safely to move and stack stock.
  • Maintain precise inventory logs using warehouse management systems or tracking logs.

Qualifications

  • 1+ years of warehouse or logistics experience.
  • Forklift certification (or willingness to obtain certification upon hire).
  • Familiarity with inventory tracking procedures and basic computer skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

Delivery service drivers

Role Overview: Transport goods securely and on schedule between transfer hubs, warehouses, and client locations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Safely operate assigned transfer vehicles following designated routes and delivery schedules.
  • Inspect vehicles daily (pre/post-trip) and report any mechanical issues or maintenance needs.
  • Assist with loading/unloading goods and ensure cargo is properly secured before transit.
  • Complete freight documentation, delivery logs, and obtain client signatures when required.

Qualifications

  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record (abstract required).
  • Proven experience as a commercial or transport driver.
  • Excellent time management, route navigation, and customer service skills.
  • Ability to pass background checks and routine physical screenings.
